About the Role
The Workday Adaptive Planning Quality team is seeking an innovative individual who will bring their passion and enthusiasm for quality and technology to help shape the future of Financial Planning and Reporting. As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) you will be involved in all aspects of quality assurance activities for an enterprising scrum team.
Responsibilities
- Be a key contributor to Workday’s Planning next generation platform
- Be responsible for delivering secure high-performance services
- Collaborate with Quality Engineers, SDETs, Developers and Product Managers to ensure secure coding practices through all steps of the SDLC to prevent application and configuration related vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate extensively to design effective test solutions (manual and automated) to ensure a high-quality product for our customers.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience working with development and QA as SDET or automation engineer.
- Experience building automation test with Selenium and Rest API.
- Experience writing automated tests in a Continuous Integration (CI) systems
- Understanding of data structure and ability to construct SQL statements
- Experience with Java Development
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT or related field of study OR equivalent work or educational experience required
Other Qualifications
- Experience building comprehensive Test Strategies and work independently on complex projects
- Demonstrable experience in programmatically testing software products and automating those tests.
- Skilled in building robust, scalable, and high-quality test automation solutions for functional and regression testing
- Experience with AWS cloud security
- Experience with Jenkins, Jira.
- Experience building Automation Frameworks
This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $46.55/hour - $62.07/hour
