Description:

Responsibilities:

Senior Program Manager, Infrastructure is responsible for leading large-scale infrastructure transformation initiatives across the organization. This role is critical in driving the modernization and optimization of IT infrastructure, ensuring alignment with the company’s business objectives, and delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget. The Program Manager will collaborate with various stakeholders, including IT teams, business leaders, and external vendors, to achieve seamless implementation and sustainable transformation.

  • Program Leadership:
    • Lead and oversee the end-to-end delivery of large, complex infrastructure transformation programs, including data center migrations, cloud adoption, network upgrades, and IT infrastructure optimization.
    • Manage cross-functional teams, ensuring all aspects of the program are aligned with strategic objectives.
    • Develop detailed program plans, timelines, and budgets, and manage resources to meet key milestones and deliverables.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Act as the key liaison between business units, IT, and external vendors, ensuring clear communication and understanding of program objectives and progress.
    • Engage with senior leadership and C-suite stakeholders to align on strategic goals and provide regular status updates.
    • Build relationships across the organization to gather requirements, mitigate risks, and secure stakeholder buy-in.
  • Risk & Issue Management:
    • Identify, assess, and manage risks and issues associated with infrastructure transformation programs, ensuring timely resolution and escalation when necessary.
    • Develop contingency plans to minimize impact on program deliverables and objectives.
  • Budget & Resource Management:
    • Monitor program budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and aligned with forecasted spending.
    • Allocate resources effectively, tracking their utilization and adjusting plans as necessary to stay within financial and personnel constraints.
  • Change Management & Adoption:
    • Work closely with change management teams to ensure a smooth transition of new infrastructure to the business.
    • Drive user adoption and training strategies to support long-term success of the infrastructure transformation.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
    • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness and progress of infrastructure transformation initiatives.
    • Prepare detailed reports and dashboards for senior management and executive-level stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 12 years of experience in IT infrastructure program management or related roles.
    • Proven track record of managing large-scale IT infrastructure transformation projects (e.g., cloud migrations, network overhauls, data center consolidations).
    • Strong experience working in multi-vendor and cross-functional environments.
    • Experience in managing a diverse range of infrastructure platforms, including cloud services (AWS, Azure), on-premises data centers, storage, and networking technologies.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent project management skills with a demonstrated ability to manage timelines, budgets, and resources efficiently.
    • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including data centers, cloud platforms, network systems, and security.
    • Proficient in project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, or equivalent.
    • Ability to manage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
    • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions in high-pressure situations.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills with strong executive presence.
  • Certifications:
    • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred.
    • ITIL or relevant infrastructure management certifications are a plus.
    • Agile or Scrum certifications desirable.

This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $68.00/hour-$75.00/hour
