Responsibilities:

The Principal IT Infrastructure and Security Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of projects related to an organization’s IT infrastructure and cybersecurity programs. This role ensures that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while aligning with the organization’s strategic objectives and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and a deep understanding of IT infrastructure and security best practices.

  1. Program and Project Management:
    • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans for IT infrastructure and security initiatives.
    • Monitor progress, track key milestones, and ensure timely completion of project deliverables.
    • Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and manage changes to project scope.
  2. Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, business units, and external vendors.
    • Communicate project status, updates, and deliverables to stakeholders and executive leadership.
    • Gather and document requirements to align project outcomes with business needs.
  3. Infrastructure Management:
    • Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and upgrades of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage systems, and cloud environments.
    • Ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability of IT systems.
  4. Cybersecurity Oversight:
    • Coordinate and manage security initiatives, including vulnerability assessments, threat management, and compliance audits.
    • Work closely with security teams to ensure that infrastructure projects adhere to cybersecurity standards and frameworks.
    • Stay updated on emerging security trends, threats, and technologies.
  5. Budget and Resource Management:
    • Develop and manage budgets for IT infrastructure and security projects.
    • Allocate resources effectively, including personnel, tools, and vendors.
    • Track expenses and ensure projects remain within budgetary constraints.
  6. Compliance and Documentation:
    • Ensure that IT infrastructure and security programs comply with relevant regulations, standards, and policies.
    • Maintain thorough documentation, including project plans, risk assessments, and post-implementation reviews.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP, CISM) is a plus.
  • Experience:
    • 15+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, or program management.
    • Proven track record of managing large-scale IT and security projects.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components (e.g., networks, servers, cloud technologies).
    • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
    • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello).
  • Soft Skills:

This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $78.00/hour-$85.00/hour
