Responsibilities
The Business Process Analyst is responsible for providing support capturing and documenting complex system requirements as well as strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, as well as providing key insights into project progress on a regular basis. This will lead to driving operational efficiencies throughout the business. Other responsibilities include:
- Diagram and evaluate existing processes. Identify new processes and document the current state vs. Future state.
- Organize, lead, and facilitate meetings while co-ordinating with stakeholders and team members.
- Review and analyze survey data and comments to identify trends, assist with developing and assigning customer and process improvement actions and report findings to the executive team in a timely manner.
- Develop process flows and procedures based on key indicators for future improvement opportunities and aligning enhancements with identified process gaps.
- Collect data to identify the root cause of problems and align with process requirements.
- Deliver presentations, provide process inputs, and content for training as needed, focusing on measurement, analysis, improvement, and adoption.
- Communicate project progress and provide relevant updates. Perform cost and benefit analysis
- Develop project plans, communciate risks, drive execution, escalate as needed, report on progress
- Design a test plan and support/document test scripts
- Be the main POC for the business outside of Payroll WoW, P&P & Program Management teams
- Provide Approvals for tenant management
- Provide Systems expertise for troubleshooting, other Q&A
Basic Qualifications
- 3-5 years in business process analysis, project management, or a related role
- Ability to develop project plans, track progress, manage risks, and communicate updates to stakeholders
- Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to inform decision-making and identify trends.
- Experience with tools like Lucidchart, Visio, or other process mapping software.
- Proficient in tools like JIRA, MS Project, or Smartsheet.
- PMI/Six Sigma Certification
- Workday Benefits, Absence, Time Tracking Experience & or Certifications Required
- Experience with accounting principles, payroll and corporate tax
- CPA a plus
- Workday Implementer Profile
- Integration Experience - Helped to build for US Payroll, Benefits, Absence and Time Tracking
- Experience writing Business Req’s
- Experience developing UAT Test scripts
- Experience creating process Flows
- Create Slides, Metrics or Dashboards to effectively
This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $87.93/hour - $117.24/hour
